Life of an Urban Tree – We All Play a Part in Urban Wood Utilization

Follow the urban tree’s lifecycle from new tree planting to repurposing and a second life. Who are the various players, and what are their goals and challenges. The Urban Wood Network will host a panel of experts who work in the various lifecycle stages of an urban tree including, planting, care, removal, milling, design, product manufacturing, and marketing. Unique perspectives will be shared from each panelist as we seek answers on how we collaboratively work together to maximize the benefits of urban trees.

This webinar is intended for a diverse audience, including urban forestry professionals, woodworkers, environmental organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, nonprofits, businesses in the urban wood industry, advocates for ethical and sustainable practices, environmental activists, and the general public. Anyone who is involved with the various lifecycle stages of urban trees may gain a new nugget of information or insight.
