Street Tree Revival by West Coast Arborists, Inc.

Western Region

25 years ago, West Coast Arborists, Inc., (WCA) started an urban wood recycling program, now known as Street Tree Revival, in collaboration with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF). (WCA) is a family owned and operated tree maintenance and management provider serving 330+ cities, counties, and school districts throughout California and Arizona. Since a number of trees living within our city streets and parks eventually decline and require removal it became imperative to identify ways to recycle the wood. At Street Tree Revival, we are making every effort to preserve their natural beauty and limit carbon emissions by salvaging trees lost during storms, disease, or normal senescence and recycling them into lumber, live edge slabs, and cookies. In addition to dried lumber and slabs, we can also offer raw log sales and custom milling. We currently process more than 40 wood species through our Street Tree Revival program.

The uses for urban wood are only limited by your imagination. How can we help you?
