The Waukesha County Green Team (WCGT) is a 501c3 with a mission to promote environmental and economic sustainability throughout Waukesha County communities through education, communication, and local action. Since 2019, the Waukesha County Green Team has partnered with the Urban Wood Network-Wisconsin to share with local residents and municipalities how to establish an urban wood utilization program. By establishing urban wood utilization programs, communities can make the most of their urban trees – a local, sustainable and renewable resource – to enhance economies, the environment and their communities.
